  • Academy Center
Academy The centerpiece of our $5.5 million dollar campaign is focused on constructing a state-of-the-art Academy Center on the 2.5-acre campus of Boys Hope Girls Hope in Garfield Heights. The Academy Center will bring our Academy Program under one roof and allow more than 200 Scholars to participate in an empowering home-like atmosphere fostering a sense of pride from middle school through high school. Our architectural plans ensure each child has an opportunity to develop holistically each day; including art and music rooms, science labs, college preparatory tutoring and study spaces, counseling areas as well as open spaces for Scholars to develop life-long relationships.
  • Athletic Center
Athletic The acquisition and renovation of a vacated church gymnasium adjacent to our property will establish nearly unlimited opportunities for our Scholars to access safe and healthy physical wellness activities. Renovations include construction of a South entryway, replacement of roof, new heating/cooling handlers and energy-efficiency updates. Located just a few feet from our planned Academy Center, the gymnasium will serve as an integral part of the Scholar Wellness Program on our Campus of Hope.
  • Residential
Residential Scholars enrolled in our unique Residential Program literally call Boys Hope Girls Hope home while attending outstanding private middle- and high- schools throughout Cleveland and Akron. Beginning as early as 6th grade, residential scholars live in one of three homes on our campus in Garfield Heights that are staffed by a qualified and highly trained group of dedicated Residential Counselors. While our three homes are beautifully maintained, several deferred capital expenditures and quality of life renovations have become pressing needs. Improvements to these historic homes include electrical and mechanical updates, along with quality of living renovations to the Girls Home (new roof), Older Boys Home (kitchen) and Younger Boys Home (mudroom).
  • Mall & Parking
Mall & Parking The current campus center has been reimagined into a beautiful, green-space for Scholars to gather and enjoy. New campus driveways, gates and parking will be built creating a well-defined and cohesive campus.
